Charles Burch is a lifelong (52 year) Memphian who has been employed as a professional in the entertainment industry over 30 years, in various capacities, including as a venue owner/operator, boxing judge/promoter, record producer, tour manager, talent buyer artist/event management & development, sales, marketing and promotion. As an artist manager and/or promoter, he has booked numerous major Pop and Blues/Americana artists, and his artists have toured throughout Europe, East Asia, as well as North America. As an award-winning record producer, Burch has been producing or co-producing records since 2003.

He has been a Voting (1996-2016) and Board of Governors (2011-2013) member of NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences – The Grammy’s) Memphis Chapter and Voting member of The Blues Foundation (BMA’s). Burch has been a board member and the Vice Chairman of The Memphis Music Commission and previous Treasurer on the Executive Board for 7 and ½ years until it’s dissolvement by 2016 City Administration. He has also served the City of Memphis in a 4 ½ year term as Secretary and Board Member of its Alcohol Commission. Burch is an ASCAP Writer and Publisher. Burch was a producer on the 2010 BMA Traditional Blues Album of The Year.  Burch is a Master Mason with Unity Lodge #95 and appointed Senior Steward in Memphis, TN, York Rite Mason (held three officer positions), Scottish Rite Mason (KSA, Ritualist, Master Craftsman), Eastern Star and Shriner’s Clown Unit and Provost Guard.

Burch has managed and instructed multiple business (both personally owned and contracted) with leadership and planning for 100’s of employees to date.

Mr. Burch is currently a Federal Transportation Security Officer (Dual Function PAX/BAG) for The Department of Homeland Security and The Transportation Security Administration stationed at MEM Memphis International Airport and previously at Punta Gorda, FL Airport PGD and Ft Myers, FL Airport RSW.

Since 1986, Mr. Burch has renovated, built, maintained, managed, bought and sold nearly 100 homes with his mother Dr. Wanda Burch In the states of Indiana, Mississippi, Florida and Tennessee.  Their Burch Properties Company currently has a 25 home portfolio. Burch was previously with KW Realty Memphis and now is with Rick Baer Realty.
